The project starts as an experiment. With a small group, we first want to find out whether the services are understandable, reliable and work well together.
Step by step
The original plan begins with internal testing, then a limited beta, and only afterwards real contributions and payouts. We are starting with a small number of partners representing different kinds of content providers.
We are currently testing with test accounts and simulated payments. A successful payment simulation is not a real charge. Actual payout execution is not yet set up. General participation terms and formal operator and privacy information must be completed before public operation with real money.
If this works, we want to open FediPass to more people and increase the number of providers to make it more attractive.
Improving through feedback
It will not all be perfect immediately; we will make mistakes, but we want to try. Feedback, suggestions and criticism are welcome as long as they are constructive and polite. FediPass is voluntary; nobody has to use it.
